Sagittaria, or 'sag' in the aquarium trade, refers to several varieties of submersed grass-like plants which propagate easily via runners forming dense groupings.

Foregound or midground plant for large aquariums or in the front to middle of smaller aquariums. It forms a slightly dispersed group with its runners. Good starter plant. Grows 10-24

Commonly referred to as eelgrass or tape grass, Vallisneria is not only a beautiful plant, but also undemanding! Its low price and fast growth rate make it perfect for those who are new to aquatic plants. It also provides a nice habitat for fish and their fry.
